Making the case

Problem, feature, benefit

Start with their problem, show what solves it, say what it means for them.

What it is

A three-part way to present anything. Name the problem the buyer told you about, show the feature that addresses it, then say the benefit in their terms.

How to use it

  • Problem: use their words, from your earlier questions.
  • Feature: one specific thing you do.
  • Benefit: what changes for them, ideally in time, money or results.

What it sounds like

Problem: You said your LinkedIn goes quiet whenever you are busy with clients.

Feature: We write and schedule two posts a week, a month in advance.

Benefit: So buyers keep hearing from you in exactly the months you have no time to post.

Where it goes wrong

A feature with no confirmed problem behind it is just noise. If you have not found the problem yet, ask more questions first.
